We met Harshada during one of the mobilization drives in a small village Pawarpada in the Mokhada taluka….She clearly stood out from the rest of the candidates. She said that she wanted to prove to the people in her village that girls can be an earning member of the family and contribute to its well being. The conviction and confidence in her voice convinced us to take her on board for our Entrepreneurship program.

Having completed the 60-day program with utmost sincerity, she received funds to start her tailoring shop from Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP), Jawhar…

Today, she runs a small tailoring shop - Pratima Ladies Tailor in Mokhada catering to the requirement of the people in the villages here.
