Ashutosh Tyagi
Board Director Investor Mentor Impact Tech Start-ups Not for Profits
Ashutosh is an adventurer in both his personal and corporate life. He has had an exciting, entrepreneurial career of more that twenty-three years characterized by willful disruption and reinvention. He loves picking new skills, learning new things, taking risks and exploring new places to trek.
He built his corporate experience in the Tata group, which he joined through the Tata Administrative Services (TAS) program. This gave him the opportunity to gain rich and deep experience across functions, sectors, life stages of organizations and locations. He worked in seven diverse Tata companies and was a Director on the Boards of 11 companies. Further, he led initiatives to start new businesses, manage the portfolio of strategic investments and incubate technology companies to scale and success across the world, when he was in the Group’s holding company. This variety was enriched further when he worked as a Partner in Private Equity business of Tata Capital leading the setting up of new funds.
Two years back he responded to his long suppressed inner calling and transitioned to the Social sector to lead a new initiative Tata Trusts had chosen to support - Social Finance India. He led this startup to stability and success in inventing and launching an innovative pay for success construct. He currently supports a host of start-ups in the impact space (employment, rural housing, education and healthcare) and a Foundation in building their strategic plans.
Proteek Kundu

A professional with experience in successfully propelling through high growth and turn around cycles in reputed organizations across the manufacturing and telecom industries over the last 25 years, Proteek plans to use his experience to make a difference to the lives of the underprivileged.
In his quest to find the things that make life worthwhile, he has always wondered how he could strike an effective balance between corporate life and make a meaningful contribution to the society and eventually he decided to move to the social sector with the hope that he will be able to use his experience to make a difference to the lives of the underprivileged.
He believes in creating opportunities for sustainable living and is keen to take on projects in the area of skill building for the under privileged section of the society so that they could be meaningfully employed in the long run….
A cycling enthusiast, Proteek enjoys long distance cycling and has a green thumb.
Dr. VVN Acharya
Professor, PACE IIT & Medical
Lovingly called Acharya Sir by his students at PACE IIT & MEDICAL, he is one of the founding members of the institution. He heads the Department of Physics and teaches the subject to all the IIT aspirants (Mains & Advanced) and is rated one of the best among all the teachers of PACE IIT & Medical across India by his students.
He has vast experience in designing the curriculum, teaching the students at undergraduate level and counselling them.
Having completed his post graduation with specialization in Solid State Physics from the Andhra University in 1995, he registered for his Ph.D and was selected for a project by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India which was to be done in collaboration with NSTL, Vishakhapatnam and IIT Madras. He was awarded the doctorate on completion of the project and his work on designing transducers with piezoelectric ceramics which could be used in underwater sonics was awarded US Patent in the year 2000 and Indian Patent in the year 2002 (you can search for him google to get the details of his research publications and the patent sanctioned).
An avid speaker, Dr. Acharya has gathered standing ovation in numerous TED Talks in the past.
Anasuya Banerji
Social Entrepreneur, Fund Raiser, Creative Thinker
Anasuya is extremely passionate about building organizations in areas of Education and Skill Development for the people at the bottom of the pyramid and from rural and indigenous communities and drive them towards excellence and sustainability.
She was the Executive Coordinator of IITB-Monash Research Academy, at IIT Bombay & and served as the Executive Coordinator of IIT Gandhinagar Administrative Cell.
She created ASMITA, a Self-Help Centre to impart literacy and develop skills among the underprivileged girls and women and raised funds from IIT alumni and industry for technology-enhanced teaching and skill development and subsequent industry placement in Anushruti, a school for hearing and speech impaired children and young adults in IIT Roorkee.
As the former Vice-President of VIDYA, an NGO, she enhanced engagement by bringing in external funding for after-school curricular and co-curricular programs for under-privileged children and a sustainable skill development program for socially-deprived women.
Her strong administrative skills have been integral to every project she has undertaken till date and she has played very important role in bringing in external funding from industry and other entities, wherever required.
Dr. Lata Ghanshamnani
Co-founder, RNisarg Foundation
With a meritorious background in Medical field and as a practicing eye surgeon since 2 decades she took a leap in social sector out of passion to build sustainable spaces.
A firm believer in the phrase that action speaks more than words she has been working consistently towards education, awareness and creating sustainable solutions.
Through her NGO RNisarg foundation , she aims to bring a more organized approach towards waste management and other civic issues like road safety and sustainable menstrual practices.
Dr. Lata loves traveling and reading during her free time.
