Vaishnavi Mahila Bachat Gath based in Kosbad village in Dahanu taluka in the Palghar district of Maharashtra started their catering business. The women of this group have traditionally been great cooks and have been working at a local kitchen. What can be better than getting an opportunity to start their own catering business using their skills? 

While they already had the vocational skill, we trained them on how to run their business and helped them start their catering center. The project funded by M/s. Bajaj Finserv as part of their CSR initiative will help generate an alternate source of income for these women and thereby empower them to contribute to the finances of their families.
