Announcing the launch of Green Dot Project in Jawhar

It is indeed a pleasure to announce the launch of the “Green Dot” Project, a joint venture between 3 partners – M/s. Stonesoup, M/s. Navodaya Foundation, M/s. NeevJivan Foundation.

We have come together to manufacture and promote cloth based sanitary napkins – this project has immense implication on two fronts –

  1. Promote menstrual hygiene among the tribal women
  2. Generate livelihood opportunities for atleast 30-40 tribal women living in this area who would be making the napkins and also promoting the same in the local market.

We are working closely with the ASHA workers and the Self Help Groups and in turn government bodies like MSRLM and Panchayat Samiti in Jawhar for the success of this project.
