The day was bright & sunny… we had invited all our students – women, farmers & youth who have been trained by us over the last 1 year to our center in Walwanda. The celebrations began with a welcome song by the students of the Adivasi High School followed by a speech by our Founder & Director Shri. Proteek Kundu.
He summarized the year gone by and spoke about our plans for the future. He spoke of two new programs that have been launched – Lakhpati Kisan & Model Village that will be the primary focus for us next year.
During the course of the program, he emphasized that NeevJivan Foundation will continue to work beyond just training….he said, “ It will be our continuous endeavor to ensure that our students are able to earn their living either through creation of small-scale ventures of their own or through our Neev Gram Udyog project that we started for the women recently.
We also distributed Vermi-composting bags to the 10 farmers selected for the Lakhpati Kisan Program and the women working for Neev Gram Udyog got their pay cheque for the work done by them during the month.
