It all started with a brief meeting with the Project Head of Integrated Tribal Development Project, Jawhar (Dist. Palghar, Maharashtra) wherein we discussed the need to support local tribal youth by helping them find opportunities for livelihood as the rural economy was slowly bouncing back to normalcy after the pandemic…
Very soon, with active support from the officials of ITDP, Jawhar, we floated the program to train the tribal youth of the Jawhar taluka on entrepreneurship skills….The program received overwhelming response with over 500 applications… the final batch of candidates were selected through a rigorous selection process.
Having gone through the training program on entrepreneurship skills, our students are now ready to start small scale business ventures (e.g. tailoring shop, beauty parlor, poultry farm, grocery shops, warli painting & handicraft) of their own…
We wish them the very best as they start their journey as entrepreneurs and thank all the officials of ITDP, Jawhar for their active support in making this program a grand success.
